I’m Ritika Lahiri, and my passion for motorcycles ignited at the age of 10, while I was still in school, inspired by my father’s love for riding. I kicked started my biking journey on a Splendor, but as college approached, I found myself drawn to Royal Enfield Bullets, thanks to friends who owned them. From there, there was no turning back. I’ve explored motorcycles of various sizes, from 100cc to 1000cc, spanning both street and off-road models .
In 2019, when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, I seized the opportunity to become a women’s motorcycle coach. This decision led me to quit my job and devote myself to teaching women the art of riding Bullets. Fast forward to 2023, and I’ve trained over 500 women, not only in Mumbai but across India, including Delhi and Bangalore.
Driven by my unwavering passion for riding and empowering women, I founded the NGO “Ridelihood.” This organization’s primary goal is to equip women with motorcycle riding skills, offering them opportunities in transportation and travel sectors. Beyond the practical skills, we aim to integrate biking into their daily lives, fostering independence and happiness.
